Transfer Rumor: Aston Villa look to poach Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham
The Claret and Blues hope to sign the £25 million loanee from Chelsea if they secure promotion.
Aston Villa will make their move to sign the 22-year-old if they manage to play in the Premier League next season. Currently, in the 5th position, they look poised to make an appearance on the play-off final of the Championship.
The Birmingham club won their first leg of the semi-final thanks to a penalty by Tammy Abraham. Aston Villa would play their next game with a slender advantage of 1 goal and hope to make their entry into the top flight after an exile of 3 years.
“The aim is 30 goals and I will keep going. It has been a fantastic season, everyone has supported me and believed in me,” he said.
“When people believe in you it gives you that extra confidence. I would like to think this squad is ready for the Premier League. We have come all this way and we have to keep going.”
“We are halfway there, we still have a massive game against West Brom on Tuesday. We have a great side and we will just have to find a way to beat them.”, said the England international.

Currently, the Stamford Bridge club are facing a transfer ban for breaking regulations regarding the signing of underage players. It would seem that Chelsea wouldn't want to sell a player at such a time but considering the number of first team strikers already available, it wouldn't seem a distant possibility.
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]Abraham has been generating a lot of interest from may for-sure Premier League teams as well, including Newcastle United. However, there also exists a chance of him featuring in the main team next season if the transfer ban isn't sorted.
There also is a healthy possibility of him being a part of another loan move as well, with the youngster’s Chelsea contract only expiring in 2022.
