UEFA Champions League Draw: Manchestern United-Barcelona highlights tasty QF draw
Ajax will take on Juventus while Liverpool will host Porto.
Can it get more exciting? The draw of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals 2018-19 is out and we have plenty of action waiting for us at the end of March. The Round of 16 was breathtaking and we expect this stage will not disappoint.
As the defending champions, Real Madrid are already out, the excitement of having a different winner of this coveted trophy is enough and with the possibility of a Premier League team lifting it, the adrenaline is high. Four of the last eight teams are from England and if we look at the draws, there will be at least one of the English team in the last four.
AFC Ajax vs Juventus - QF1
Ajax Amsterdam kicked out Cristiano Ronaldo's former team and now will face Juventus in the Quarters. Something common between the two sides is that both of them overturned the deficit in their aggregates to come through.
Liverpool vs FC Porto - QF2
The former Champions League winners from Portugal, FC Porto have a tough task now. They will have to keep the highflying Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane in check in the quarters. Virgil Van Dijk alone has become a threat in both defence and attack.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City - QF3
The domestic rivalry of tactics will continue between Mauricio Pochettino and Pep Guardiola but this time on the European front. The Lilywhites lost against City earlier this season in the league but now they will face each other thrice in 11 days. From 9th April till 20th April, they will play both the legs of the Quarter-Finals plus the return league between Cityzens and Tottenham.
Manchester United vs Barcelona - QF4
At last, they meet again. Manchester United and Barcelona faced each other twice in UEFA Champions League finals in three years. 2009 and 2011 when Pep Guardiola was at FC Barcelona and won 2-0 and 3-1 respectively to lift the trophy. Though the squads have changed but the redemption must in the Red Devils' mind.

While everybody were in awe of the fixtures and the tremendous action that we could witness, UEFA dropped the fixtures of the Semi-Finals and Final of this season.
So, the winners of Quarterfinals 1 and Quarterfinals 3, i.e. either Ajax/Juventus and Tottenham Hotspur/Manchester City will face each other in the first Semi-Final.

Though, the winners of the first Semi-Final will be drawn at home for the Final on 1st June 2019. So that basically means that one of Tottenham, Manchester City, Ajax and Juventus will play in their home kit in Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
