Two of the world's best strikers are not available- Jurgen Klopp ahead of hosting FC Barcelona
This is a major blow for the Reds who are already three goals behind on aggregate.
Jurgen Klopp faces a massive setback in his Champions League campaign as Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino would sit out. Already 3 goals down after the first leg in Camp Nou, Klopp would have to make major changes to his lineup and strategies if he aspires a comeback in the home.
Salah was injured in the game against Newcastle United. He was floored after keeper Martin Dubravka punched a shot clear from the box in the second half. Liverpool later won the game after a header from Origi in the 86th minute.
Firmino had already missed out on the win against Newcastle because of a ligament injury contracted in the 5-0 win against Huddersfield. After the match, when asked about the condition of the Brazilian striker, he said that Firmino had suffered a “small tear in a very small muscle.”
Klopp couldn't feature Naby Keita in his lineup against the Toons due to injury in the match against Barcelona which gave Origi his place in the lineup.
Ahead of the match against Barcelona, Klopp said,
"We have to make a lot of decisions. Tomorrow night is the third game in six days," Klopp added."Barcelona changed 11 positions at the weekend. We will see what the outcome is."
"Two of the world's best strikers are not available tomorrow night and we have to score four goals," said Klopp."It doesn't make life easier but we will try for 90 minutes to celebrate the Champions League campaign to give it a proper finish.""That's the plan. If we can do it, wonderful. If we can't do it, let's fail in the most beautiful way."

The manager was however optimistic of his presence in the final league game fixture against Wolves at Anfield on Sunday. Liverpool could possibly lift the trophy since 1990 if City manages to lose points and the hosts win all 3 points.
