I don't care what people might say- Sergio Ramos
The Real Madrid defender is going to captain Spain against England in their UEFA Nations League opener.
Sergio Ramos doesn't care about the reception English fans would give him in the UEFA Nations League opener against England at Wembley. The English fans, especially those who support Liverpool, have been very critical about Sergio Ramos' challenge on Mohammed Salah in the UEFA Champions League final game.
The Spanish and the Real Madrid captain has been made to answer for it many times previously and was once again before the first game of UEFA Nations League. But the Spanish defender is sure that he did all righteous and that despite the hate he is going to receive from some, he will give it his all and win it for his national side.
The Los Blancos captain quoted, "I never go onto the pitch with the intention of injuring another professional so I have a very clear conscience."
“I’ve come here to win with Spain and I don’t care what people might say or how I will be received.”

“In the last few years Spain has dropped a couple of levels, and our objective is to recover what made us win in the first place,” he said.
“The coach and players have a great challenge in front of us in trying to win again. We have a lot of ambition but we have to show it. We want the world to fall in love with us again.
“The boss has asked us to pay more attention this week because everything was new so we’ve had days of team talks, lots of dialogue and lots of work,” Ramos added.

Spain had a terrible run at the World Cup 2018, and they have not been any good in the recent championships. Ramos knows that a lot has to be done to regain the status of world-beaters. Spain was shocked by the Russians in the Round of 16 after changing their manager just a couple of days before the tournament's first game.
