India at Asian Games 2026: Cycling schedule, squad, & live streaming details
India have sent 14 cyclists to the Aichi-Nagoya Games
The Asian Games 2026 will be hosted in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, and India are one of the 46 nations taking part in the continental tournament. The country had a record-breaking outing in the previous edition in Hangzhou, bringing in 106 medals.
Despite sports like archery, shooting, and athletics bringing in international success, one sport failed to secure a podium finish at the Hangzhou 2026 Games: cycling. Despite India sending a strong cycling contingent to the 19th Asian Games, the sport brought no medals.
Ronaldo Laitonjam Singh, a four-time Asian Cycling Championships medallist, will look to bounce back from that disappointment and clinch his maiden Asian Games medal at the Aichi-Nagoya Games.
Ronaldo will be joined by David Beckham Elkatohchoongo, who represented the country at the Commonwealth Games 2026. The pair will compete in individual and team sprint events.
Three-time ACC Track Asia Cup silver medallist Harshveer Sekhon will compete in Keirin, Madison, and Omnium events. Harshita Jakhar, who became the first Indian cyclist to feature in the Tour de France Femmes, will compete in the Madison, Omnium, and Pursuit events.
