Asian Youth Para Games 2025

India is sending 99 athletes to the 2025 edition.

The Asian Youth Para Games 2025 is set to take place from December 7 to 14. Eight venues across Dubai will serve as host to the event.

Around 1500 athletes from 45 countries will be in action in the competition. The players will participate in 11 sports namely, Para Archery, Para Athletics, Para Badminton, Para Boccia, Goalball, Para Powerlifting, Para Swimming, Para Taekwondo, Para Table Tennis, Wheelchair Basketball, Para-Arm-wrestling.

The last edition of the Asian Youth Para Games took place in 2021 in Bahrain. Iran topped the standings with 144 medals, followed by Thailand (87) and Japan (60). Meanwhile, India finished fifth with 43 medals, including 12 golds.

The 2025 edition will have the presence of 99 athletes from India, comprising 61 males and 38 females, who will take part in eight disciplines.

All the events will be hosted in multiple venues across Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
