AFI announces qualification standard for Asian Athletics Championships 2023

The Federation Cup Senior Athletics Championships 2023 will serve as a qualification event for the competition.
The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) have released the qualification standards for the Asian Athletics Championships 2023 ahead of the 26th National Federation Cup.
The Asian Athletics Championships 2023 are one of the most prestigious events in the athletic calendar and the 2023 edition promises to be no different. With the event set to take place in Bangkok, Thailand from 12 to 16 July 2023, athletes from across Asia are gearing up for the competition. The deadline for sending entries is set at 11th June 2023.
The qualification standards for the Asian Athletics Championships 2023 ensure that only the best of the best will be competing in Bangkok. With the date of the competition drawing ever closer, athletes will be working hard to meet these standards and secure their place in the final team representing India.
To qualify for the competition, athletes must meet the qualification standards set out by the organizers. The Indian squad will be selected based on performance in events such as the Federation Cup Senior Athletics Championships and Interstate Athletics Championships. This ensures that only the best athletes from each country are chosen to represent their nation on the big stage.
For athletes who are training outside of India, the Interstate Athletics Championships can be used as a confirmatory trial. This provides a fair and transparent process for all athletes to qualify for the competition regardless of their location or circumstances.
