Indian athletes, Abdulla Aboobacker and Ajay Kumar Saroj achieved remarkable success at the Asian Athletics Championships 2023 held in Bangkok, Thailand. The second day of the championship turned out to be a triumphant one for the Indian duo as they clinched gold medals in their respective events.
In the men's 1500m final, Ajay Kumar Saroj, 26-year-old from Uttar Pradesh, displayed an exceptional race. Despite being caught in a box for a significant portion of the race, Saroj made a move on the final corner by surpassing his competitors and finishing strong.
