4th Indian Open Throws Competition 2025: Updated full schedule, fixtures and live streaming details

Athletes will look to breach the Asian Athletics Championships qualifying mark.
The 4th Indian Open Throws Competition 2025 is scheduled to start from March 20. It is a two-day event and will end on March 21. The event is scheduled to take place at Jio Institute, Ulwe, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. This event will be crucial for the athletes to qualify for the Asian Athletics Championships by breaching the qualification mark set by the Athletics Federation of India.
A lot of young and promising athletes along with some big names will participate in this event. Two-time Olympian and the current national record holder in men’s shotput Tajinderpal Singh Toor will look to improve his performance and will aim to breach the 20m mark. Alongside him, we have the National Games silver medalist Samardeep Singh who will also look to throw beyond 20m.
In men’s discus throw, eyes will be on the defending champion Nirbhay Singh who will look to breach 59.63m to qualify for the Asian Athletics Championships.
The most anticipated event of the completion will be the men’s javelin throw where the competition has increased thanks to India’s golden boy Neeraj Chopra.
