The Diamond League Finals 2024 will see athletes aiming for legendary performances.

After 15 action-packed events on the track and field in the past five months, Diamond League 2024 Finals is set to start soon. The season finale will see the top athletes in over 14 events aiming for the Diamond League Finals 2024 title. There will be 14 events each in the men’s and women’s field.

The Memorial Van Damme meeting will see world and Olympic champions collide in multiple events. The Diamond League 2024 Finals will take place over two days, as fans can see various records being set at Brussels. The women’s discus throw will be the first event, while the women’s 400m hurdles is expected to be the last event.

The women’s high jump could see Yaroslava Mahuchikh extend her winning streak. The same goes for Mondo Duplantis in the men’s pole vault. Both athletes have continued to defy the limits by outclassing their rivals. Ryan Crouser will also seek to continue his unprecedented success in the men’s shot put and there could be an upset orchestrated by Joe Kovacs, similar to what he did in Silesia last month.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone will be racing in non-Diamond League 200m and 400m events. She could end the season with sensational performances on the track.

Indian fans will be cheering for two of their athletes who will be seen during the Diamond League Finals 2024. Avinash Sable will be one of the 12 athletes competing in the men’s 3000m steeplechase. After the 3000m steeplechase event, the fans will witness the roar of Neeraj Chopra in the men’s pole vault.

Chopra could finally breach the 90m mark but will be cautious of his rivals, Anderson Peters and Julian Weber. The Indian double Olympic medalist will be in action on Day 2 as his compatriot, Sable will also be in action on Day 1 midnight. Sable can be cheered on by the Indian fans on September 14 at 12:39am IST, while Chopra will be aiming for the title on September 14 at 11:52pm IST.
