Eugene Diamond League 2025: Updated schedule, fixtures, results & live streaming details

Many top athletes will take part in the Eugene Diamond League 2025.
The Eugene Diamond League 2025, also known as the Prefontaine Classic, will be held on July 5 in Eugene, Oregon, in the United States. This is the ninth meet of the Diamond League 2025 season and is being held days after the conclusion of the Paris Diamond League.
Numerous Olympic, Paralympic, World, and Continental champions and medalists are set to headline the event. All Diamond League events, along with some non-Diamond League events such as the pole vault, women’s 100m hurdles, and 400m flat among others, feature stacked fields.
In the track events, both the men’s and women’s 100m races feature prominent names at the Eugene Diamond League. Jamaican sprinters Kishane Thompson and Ackeem Blake will challenge the USA’s Christian Coleman and Trayvon Bromell at the meet.
Meanwhile, South Africa’s rising star Bayanda Walaza and Australia’s Lachlan Kennedy are also expected to pose a tough competition to the experienced names in Eugene.
Meanwhile, Olympic gold medalist Julien Alfred will face Paris silver and bronze medalists Sha’Carri Richardson and Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, both competing on home soil, in the women’s 100m. However, it could be anybody’s race this time, with Tina Clayton, Twanisha Terry, Favour Ofili, and Marie-Josée Ta Lou-Smith all appearing to be in impressive form.
A few other track athletes to watch out for in Diamond League events are Rai Benjamin and Alison dos Santos in the men’s 400m hurdles, Beatrice Chebet and Gudaf Tsegay in the women’s 5000m, Quincy Hall, Jacory Patterson, and Matthew Hudson-Smith.
In the men’s 400m, Athing Mu, Mary Moraa, and Tsige Duguma in the women’s 800m, Kenny Bednarek and Letsile Tebogo in the men’s 200m, Yared Nuguse, Azeddine Habz, Cole Hocker, Cameron Myers, and Hobbs Kessler in the Bowerman Mile, and Faith Kipyegon, Diribe Welteji, and Jessica Hull in the women’s 1500m.
On the other hand, Tara Davis-Woodhall (women’s long jump), Chase Jackson and Sarah Mitton (women’s shot put), Joe Kovace (men’s shot put) and Valarie Allman and Yaime Perez (women’s discus) are some field athletes who are some of the big names in their respective discipline.
In events that do not offer Diamond League points, Mondo Duplantis in the men’s pole vault and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone in the women’s 400m are the most prominent athletes headlining the Eugene Diamond League.
It is worth noting that no Indian athletes are featured at this Diamond League meet.
