India’s fastest man, Gurindervir Singh, appeared in an interview with Bharat Army
The Bharat Army, India’s official global supporters’ group, has lauded the Indian contingent for its campaign at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, where India signed off with 85 medals, including 21 gold, 27 silver and 37 bronze.
Bharat Army, which has built a global community of Indian sports fans, continues to extend its support beyond cricket, backing Indian athletes across sporting disciplines and celebrating their achievements on the world stage.
Rakesh Patel, Founder, Bharat Army, said, “We are incredibly proud of every Indian athlete who competed at the recently concluded 2026 Asian Games. We had so many moments to cheer for, with our athletes showing incredible grit, passion and belief across disciplines, landing a haul of 85 medals.

India finished fourth in the overall medal standings, with its clean sweep of gold medals in cricket, kabaddi and hockey among the defining moments of the campaign.
The Games also saw Indian athletes produce record-breaking performances, secure maiden podium finishes and register several landmark individual achievements across disciplines.
