The National Open Athletics Championships 2024 are scheduled to kick off from August 30 to September 2, 2024, at Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The four-day competition will see athletes competing in multiple track, field, and race-walk events.

In the 100m sprint event, Amlan Borgohain, Gurindervir Singh, and Amiya Kumar Mallick are a few top names to look out for at the 63rd National Open Athletics Championships. Meanwhile, the Indian national record holder Tejas Shirse will be back to create an impression in the 110m hurdles.

In the men’s field events, Jesse Sandesh (high jump), Muhammed Anees Yahiya (long jump), Sahil Silwal, Rohit Yadav (javelin throw), and Arpinder Singh (triple jump), are some prominent names who will feature at the National Open Athletics Championships 2024.

After a dismal show at the Paris Olympics 2024, Annu Rani is set to make her appearance in the women’s javelin throw at the National Open Athletics Championships. The Asian Games 2022 gold medalist will be eager to make a mark at the tournament.

In addition, Ancy Sojan and Nayana James are two long jumpers who will be headlining the tournament. Aishwarya Mishra and Rupal Chaudhary in the women’s 400m and Vithya Ramraj in the 400m hurdles are some other names who will look to deliver an impressive performance at the tournament.
