The Paris Diamond League 2025 is all set to take center stage at Charléty Stadium on June 20 (Friday). Popularly known as Meeting de Paris, the event is the eighth stop of the Diamond League season and the halfway point of the 15-leg series, which concludes with the Zurich Diamond League.
The event on Friday will begin with the men’s triple jump and concludes with the women’s 1500m final event. One of the most anticipated events at the Paris Diamond League is the men’s 110m hurdles. Divided into two heats, the race will feature several prominent names battling for the hurdles crown, including Grant Holloway, Trey Cunningham, and Dylan Beard, among others.
Likewise, the women’s section of the 100m hurdles also includes a star-studded lineup comprising Ackera Nugent, Grace Stark, Tobi Amusan, Devynne Charlton, Nadine Visser and more. With such a stacked field running on Friday, there’s a high chance Masai Russell’s world-leading 12.17s going down.

The women’s 200m is another event to watch out for with Anavia Battle, Dina Asher-Smith, Brittany Brown and McKenzie Long fighting for the top spot.
Another track discipline where big names will feature includes Yomif Kejelcha, Soufianne El Bakkali, Jacob Krop and Nico Young in the men’s 5000m, thus promising to be a thrilling encounter.
Apart from the track disciplines, the field events also have a strong lineup, with Katie Moon, Tina Šutej and Sandi Morris in the women’s pole vault; Valarie Allman, Yaime Pérez, Sandra Elkasević and Laulauga Tausaga in the women’s discus; and Yaroslava Mahuchikh, Nicola Olyslagers and Eleanor Patterson leading the high jump field.
Which Indians are participating in Paris Diamond League 2025?
Neeraj Chopra, a two-time Olympic medalist including gold in Tokyo and silver in Paris, will be India’s only representative at the Paris Diamond League.
Chopra opened his 2025 season with a remarkable national record performance at the Doha Diamond League by breaching the 90m mark in the men’s javelin throw for the first time in his career. However, despite this effort, Germany’s Julien Weber produced an even better performance with a throw of 91.06m, also a national record for his country.
With both Chopra and Weber set to clash at the Paris Diamond League, it wouldn’t be surprising if national records are broken again on Friday.
