Paris Diamond League 2024: Live streaming, TV channel, where and how to watch

Paris Diamond League 2024 will take place July 7.

Paris Diamond League 2024 will begin soon at the Charlety stadium. The event will witness five Olympic champions, six world champions and 12 defending European champions compete across 15 disciplines. 

There will be eight events in the men’s category while the women’s category will see one event less. There will also be a mixed hammer throw at Paris Diamond League 2024. The reigning Olympic in Hammer throw, Wojciech Nowicki will be the favourite to stand on top of the podium.

Apart from the mixed Hammer throw event, the women’s 100m also promises to be a show stealer. Gina Mariam Bass Bittaye is in the best form of her career, she ran a career best of 10.93 secs during Meeting de la Martinique in May. 

She has run 14 races in the 100m this season and could give Gambia a gold at the Charlety stadium. But Bittaye will be closely challenged by Tamara Clark. She has a season best of 10.95 secs and a career best of 10.88 secs which had come in 2022.

In the men’s 200m, Two young athletes will be spearheading the attack. Tarsis Orogot and Cheickna Traore are the only ones in the field to have recorded sub 20 secs in the event this year. The sprinters will try to come close to reaching Noah Lyles’ meet record of 19.65 secs.

While the sprinting events will be conducted a bit late. The 3000m Steeplechase event will begin early as 6:00 PM. India’s Avinash Sable will hope to put up an inspirational performance. Indian fans will have to cheer back-to-back in Paris as the next event after Steeplechase will be Javelin throw.

Kishore Jena will be looking to bounce back in the Javelin throw competition. He is yet to find his form this season and needs to strike the right balance at the Charlety stadium.
