Rome Diamond League 2024: Full schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

No Indian will be part of Rome Diamond League.
The Rome Diamond League 2024, also known as the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea, is gearing up to deliver another dose of world-class athletics on August 30.
The Golden Gala is a yearly track and field competition that usually takes place at Rome’s Olympic Stadium. It’s now part of the Diamond League, a top-tier series of athletics meets. The event was renamed to honor Pietro Mennea, a famous Italian sprinter, after he passed away in 2013.
In recent years, the competition moved to Florence twice due to various circumstances. The Golden Gala was started by Primo Nebiolo, who led the international athletics governing body for nearly two decades. His goal was to bring together athletes from the U.S. and NATO countries following their absence from the 1980 Moscow Olympics, which they skipped in response to Soviet actions in Afghanistan.
