The much-awaited Silesia Diamond League 2025 will take place on Saturday, August 16. The competition forms one of the 15 Diamond League meetings throughout the season, with the final culminating in Zurich later this month.

The tournament will feature Olympic champions and world record holders. Many players will look to fine-tune themselves ahead of the World Athletics Championship.

Prominent athletes such as Mondo Duplantis (men’s pole vault), Noah Lyles (men’s 100m), Sha’Carri Richardson (women’s 100m), and Shericka Jackson (women’s 200m) are set to take the field. 

Natalia Kaczmarek (women’s 400m), Grant Holloway (men’s 110m hurdles), Hamish Kerr (men’s high jump), and Tom Walsh (men’s shot put) are also notable players who will look to make a strong statement. 

It is worth noting that top javelin throwers Neeraj Chopra and Arshad Nadeem will not participate in the tournament. Instead, names like Julian Weber and Anderson Peters will be the players to watch out for in the javelin throw event.
