After weeks of uncertainty surrounding his comeback timeline, the 28-year-old has now confirmed his return to competition, offering a major boost to Indian athletics ahead of a packed season that includes the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games.

The former Olympic champion will return to a venue that holds special memories. It was at the Doha Diamond League 2025 that Chopra finally breached the coveted 90-metre mark with a throw of 90.23m, setting a new national record.
