The Indian Grand Prix 3 2025, the penultimate national event hosted by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI), is scheduled for Saturday, August 2. Organised in collaboration with the Punjab Athletics Association, this competition will be held at Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana, Punjab.

The upcoming 64th National Inter-State Athletics Championships 2025 will be the last national Athletics event in the senior category for the 2025 season.

A total of 226 athletes will compete across 25 disciplines, including 13 events in the men’s category and 12 in the women’s category, at the Indian Grand Prix 3. Hosts Punjab will have the largest contingent, with 34 athletes, while Haryana and Delhi have named 21-member squads for the event.

AFI has made it mandatory for athletes to compete in one or more Indian Open Athletics Meets or Indian Grand Prix events to be eligible to submit their entries for the 64th National Inter-State Athletics Championships 2025, scheduled to take place from August 20 to 24 in Chennai.

The five-day event in Chennai will serve as the final opportunity for athletes to secure direct qualification for the World Athletics Championships by meeting the qualifying mark. Athletes may also qualify based on world rankings if they fail to secure a direct spot.
