Which Indian athletes will participate at Monaco Diamond League 2025?

Two Indians will compete in the Monaco Diamond League 2025 on Friday.
The Monaco Diamond League 2025 will take place on Friday (July 11) at the Stade Louis II Stadium in Monaco. The upcoming competition will consist of 14 DL events and one event in the U23 category.
The 14 Diamond League disciplines scheduled to be played on Friday are as follows:
- Women’s Shot Put
- Men’s Pole Vault
- Men’s High Jump
- Women’s 400m Hurdles
- Women’s 400m
- Men’s 800m
- Men’s 110m Hurdles
- Men’s Triple Jump
- Women’s 1000m
- Women’s 100m Hurdles
- Men’s 5000m
- Men’s 200m
- Men’s 3000m Steeplechase
- Women’s 100m
Additionally, there will be a men’s U23 200m race and a 1000m National event for athletes from France.
World record holder Armand Duplantis will compete in men’s pole vault, while Paris Olympian Femke Bol will be in action in the women’s 400m hurdles event. Olympic champion Noah Lyles will mark his return in the 200m race on Friday and will lock horns against 200m Olympic champion Letsile Tebogo.
Olympic champion Julian Alfred will ply her trade in the women’s 100m race at the Monaco Diamond League.
Who are the Indian athletes taking part in Monaco Diamond League 2025?
Two Indian athletes will compete in the upcoming Monaco DL 2025 on Friday, July 11. Animesh Kujur, the 100m & 200m national record holder, will compete in the men’s U23 200m race, making his first-ever Diamond League appearance.

He has a season and personal best of 20.32 seconds and is ranked 39th in the world. The Indian athlete will be up against World Rank 14 Taste from Australia (20.02 seconds) and South Africa’s Naeem Jack, who is ranked 44th in 200m with a lifetime best of 20.13 seconds.
Meanwhile, Aviansh Sable will be in action in the men’s 3000m steeplechase event. Ranked 17th in the world, Avinash will be up against the top athletes from around the world and will look to improve his performance in his third Diamond League appearance this season. He previously competed in the Xiamen and Shanghai legs of the Diamond League earlier this year.
