Saikat, 20, an engineering undergraduate from BIT Mesra, has perfectly mastered the art of juggling football and formulas. A recipient of the National Award from the Honourable Education Minister of India, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Saikat also has an impeccable academic record, having emerged as a state topper with a score of 98.6% in the CBSE 10th Boards. An avid football fan, Saikat has drafted over 450 articles on Indian and world football in less than a year. Apart from writing articles, Saikat's extraordinary communication skills make him "The Chosen One" for hosting exclusive interviews. Grabbing all opportunities with both hands, Saikat, at just 20 years of age, has interviewed Olympic gold medalists like Yibbi Jansen, former Real Madrid star Javier Hernandez, and some of the most prolific icons in the sporting domain. He has so far covered tournaments like the Durand Cup, Indian Super League, and the Hero Hockey India League.
