All England Open 2023 Day 3 highlights: Treesa-Gayatri make quarters; Lakshya Sen, Prannoy, Srikanth, Satwik-Chirag out

Welcome to the live blog for Day 3 of the All England Open 2023 Badminton Championships. A number of Indian shuttlers, including Lakshya Sen, HS Prannoy and Kidambi Srikanth, will be in action today.
After two stunning days, the All England Open 2023 Badminton Championships moves to the last 16 stage. As many as three Indian shuttlers in singles and two Indian pairs in doubles will be in action on Thursday. Follow the All England Open 2023 live here.
For India, the day will start with the women's doubles pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand taking on Japanese duo Yuki Fukushima/Sayaka Hirota on court 2. Treesa/Gayatri pair beat Kititharakul/Prajongjai in straight games 21-18, 21-14 in the opening round.
The men's doubles pair and sixth-seeded Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty are likely to be next in action. They will face Chinese pair Liang Wei Keng/Wang Chang on court 1. Sat-Chi duo beat compatriots Krishna Prasad/Vishnu Panjala 21-13, 21-13 in their first-round match.
Three back-to-back men's singles matches will follow then with Sen and Srikanth in action on court 2, while HS Prannoy will play on court 1.
Lakshya Sen, who reached the men's singles final last year, beat Chinese Taipei's Chou Tien Chen 21-18, 21-19 in the opening round and will play Ander Antonsen in the last 16. HS Prannoy, on the other, put aside Wang Tzu Wei 21-19, 22-20 in his first-round match and will be up against third-seed Anthony Ginting of Singapore.
Kidambi Srikanth will face seventh-seeded Kodai Naraoka in the round of 16 after beating France's Toma Popov in three sets (19-21, 21-14, 21-5).
