The Indonesia Open concluded with Satwik-Chirag of India finally getting the better of the Malaysian pair of Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik in the final of the men's doubles category. And so, the wait for the title continues for the Malaysian fans as they turn their heads towards the next tournament in the BWF World Tour Circuit, the Taipei Open 2023. 

Taipei Open 2023 is the sixth BWF Super 300 event of the BWF World Tour Calender 2023. And it will take place from 20 June 2023 to 25 June 2023 at the Tian-mu Arena, University of Taipei, in Taipei, Taiwan. Malaysians will hope that in the absence of Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik, Ong Yew Sin and Teo Ee Yi can lead the Malaysian challenge in Taiwan. The men's doubles pair are the top seed in the tournament and will have tough competition from the three home favourite pairs following them in the seedings.

The other Malaysians to watch out for would be the women's singles player Goh Jin Wei and the third-seed women's doubles pair of Vivian Hoo/Lim Chiew Sien. The Malaysians do have many other seeded players in the competition.
