HS Prannoy is the lone Indian to win the title in 2017.
US Open a BWF World Tour Super 300 tournament is being held annually since 1954. During the 1950s and 1960s, it often attracted the world's top players. HS Prannoy is the only Indian to win this championship in 2017. The 2nd seed defeated Compatriot Parupali Kashyap in 3 games (21-15,20-22,21-12).
Beiwen Zhang last won the US Open title in 2014 for the host nation defeating Kanta Ito (21-8,21-17).
