BWF World Junior Championships 2023: Updated schedule, fixtures, results and live streaming details
The 23rd edition of BWF World Junior Championships will kick-off on 25th September.
Asian Games 2023 has begun and there are a lot of talks about it but let's not forget that our junior shuttlers are taking part in the BWF World Junior Championships which will be held in Washington, USA. The competition will commence on 25 September 2023. The tournament was integrated in 1992 and the 2023 edition will be the 23rd edition.
India have won a total of 10 medals (1 Gold 4 Silver and 5 Bronze). The only player to win the gold was the London Olympic Bronze medalist Saina Nehwal back in 2008. She also won the Silver medal in 2006. The former World No. 1 is the only Indian to win two medals at the BWF World Junior Championships. The 1st medal was won by Aparna Popat when she won the Silver medal at the 1996 Championships.
This time eyes will be on Unnati Hooda and Ayush Shetty who are the best bet for team India at the Junior World Championships.
