No Singaporean will participate in the BWF World Tour event this season.

The BWF Arctic Open 2023 is the eighth Super 500 event and the first event in October of the BWF (Badminton World Federation) World Tour 2023. For the uninitiated, the BWF World Tour now has nine Super 500 events, and the final one will be the Japan Masters 2023.

The last BWF World Tour 2023 event that happened was another BWF Super 500 event, the Hong Kong Open 2023. Jonatan Christie of Indonesia took the title in men's singles while Akane Yamaguchi ran away with the win in women's singles.

For Singapore, the biggest name of the sport from the island nation, Loh Kean Yew, is not playing in the tournament. The Asian Championships 2023 silver medalist lost to Ng Tze Yong of Malaysia in Round 2 of the Asian Games. Also, Loh Kean Yew lost to Frenchman Christo Popov in Round 1 of the Hong Kong Open 2023.

Unfortunately none apart from the island country is participating in the Super 500 event.
