Where and how to watch BWF Korea Masters 2024 finals live?

This season marks the 16th edition of the BWF Korea Masters.

With only a day to go for the finals of BWF Korea Masters 2024, fans will be excited to see champions in the making. After four days of intense battles which involved over 260 players in contention, the finalists have been confirmed across five categories. Home crowd favorites will feature in only the men’s and women’s doubles.

The event has witnessed the local players dominating in all five categories in the previous editions. This time there will be a first time winner in men’s and women’s singles. It will be the fourth instance where a non South Korean player will clinch the title in men’s singles. In the mixed doubles too, there will be a non South Korean pair winner for the third time.

In the men’s singles final, top seed and world champion Kunlavut Vitidsarn will face Wang Zhengxing. Vitidsarn is aiming to be the first player from Thailand to win the event. He has only dropped a single game on the way to the final. Zhengxing has also dropped a single game and could become the first player from China in 14 years to lift the trophy in men’s singles.

In the women’s singles final, second seed Putri Kusuma Wardani will clash against Han Qianxi. Wardani is a win away from becoming the first Indonesian to win the event. Meanwhile Qianxi defeated the top seed Tomoka Miyazaki in the semi-finals and has been in good form so far. She is yet to drop a game in the event.

In the men’s doubles, top seeds and former world champions Aaron Chia / Soh Wooi Yik will face Jin Yong/ Kim Won-ho in the summit clash. The Malaysian pair are the favourites to take the title as Yong/ Kim will be cheered on by their home crowd. In the women’s doubles, second seeds Li Yijing / Luo Xumin are up against sixth seeds Kim Hye-jeong / Kong Hee-yong.

In the mixed doubles final, Indonesian pair and second seeds Dejan Ferdinansyah / Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja will be fighting for the title against fourth seeds Guo Xinwa / Chen Fanghui. The Chinese pair narrowly escaped defeat in the semi-finals and will be now eyeing the title.

The Korea Masters 2024 finals will take on November 10. The matches will be held at Iksan Gymnasium in Iksan, North Jeolla Province, South Korea.
