Indonesia emerged champions, their second title in the tournament.

The BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships 2024 are scheduled to commence on September 30 in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. India will be represented by a strong 20-member squad, competing in the 24th edition of the tournament. This year, the event features 40 teams in the mixed-team category.

India is placed in Group E, where they will face off against Turkey, Mauritius, Peru, and Azerbaijan. The competition will provide a platform to showcase top U-19 badminton talent from around the globe. The mixed team events will take place from September 30 to October 5, followed by individual events from October 7 to October 13.

In last year’s edition, China dominated the championships, clinching team gold as well as two individual golds in Boys’ doubles and Mixed doubles. Indonesia’s Alwi Farhan took home the Boys’ singles title.
