The top three seeds are Malaysians led by Busanan Ongbamrungphan as she will be joined by Pornpawee Chochuwong and Ratchanok Intanon. Ninth seed Malvika Bansod will not feature in the event as Anupama Upadhyaya will be the top seed for India.
