PV Sindhu will look forward to completing her medal hat-trick at Paris Olympics 2024.

The badminton competition at Paris Olympics 2024 will commence on July 27 and will be held at Paris Arena II/Porte de La Chapelle Arena (Adidas Arena) Paris, France. India will look to end its gold medal drought in badminton at Paris 2024.

All eyes will be on the former WR #1 Indian pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty – French open champions and Asian games champions Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty to win a gold medal.

HS Prannoy and PV Sindhu, India’s men’s and women’s singles No. #1s will be looking to clinch their medals at Worlds Largest Multi Sports Extravaganza. Lakshya Sen, Commonwealth Games gold medalist, also will try to make his debut Olympics memorable by winning medal. While The Women’s Doubles pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto will be looking to give spirited performance in their debut Olympics as pair.

The Indian badminton contingent has won a total of 3 medals (1 silver and 2 bronze medals). P.V. Sindhu is the only Indian badminton player to win two medals at the Olympics. all 3 medals came in the Women’s singles category.

At the previous edition in Tokyo, Sindhu won India’s only medal ( bronze ). Rio Olympic silver medalist PV Sindhu won the bronze medal after beating He Bing Jiao , she lost in the semi-finals to her nemesis Tai Tzu Ying.

India is sending a total of seven members to the Paris Olympics 2024 (4 Male, 3 Female). this squad was decided on the basis of their BWF Race2Paris Rankings.
