Many popular badminton couples have given fans several great moments.
Badminton has produced many astonishing moments and some sweet moments as well. Several couples have been playing badminton, sharing cute chemistry with their partners. Many badminton stars have found their life partners within the sport and have formed great chemistry with each other both off-court and on-court.
Saina and Kashyap have become one of the most popular sports couples in India. Apart from them, the pair of Sikki Reddy and Sumeeth Reddy is also quite popular.
Saina Nehwal and Parupali Kashyap (India)
Saina Nehwal has been India’s reigning badminton queen and has established India’s presence in the badminton circuit. She was the first Indian shuttler to win an Olympic medal. She tied the knot with his fellow compatriot and former Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist Parupalli Kashyap.
They have been the most beloved couple in Indian sports. The duo trained together at the Pullela Gopichand Academy and developed a strong bond over the years, culminating in their marriage in 2018. Their love story has also been shown in the film Saina.

Chris Adcock and Gabrielle Adcock (England)
Chris and Gabrielle (Gabby) were the first husband-wife duo to win the mixed doubles gold at the Commonwealth Games in 2014. They were one of the best English duos of all time. They won the bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships. The duo also won two gold medals at the Commonwealth Games. Their chemistry and understanding on the court was the best and they reached the best WR 4 rank together.
They also played in the Premier Badminton League (PBL) together for Chennai Smashers in 2017 and Pune 7 Aces in 2020. The pair tied the knot in 2013. They have been training together since their childhood and also won the silver medal at the Junior World Championships.
Liu Cheng and Bao Yixin (China)
The Chinese pair was one of the most formidable mixed doubles pairs of their time. Although their partnership on the court did not last long, their chemistry off the court was great. As a result, they got married in 2019.
Together they won two World Championship medals for the country in mixed doubles. Also, both players were very successful. Liu Cheng has become the World Champion in the men’s doubles category while Bao Yixin has won 23 titles in her career.

Gregory Mairs and Jenny Moore (England)
Gregory and Jenny, one of the most popular couples currently, have retired after a fairytale-like competition at the All England Open. at their home. They reached the QF in their last tournament. They have made an immense effort to promote Badminton via YouTube Channel (Badminton Insights).
The duo have explained all the technical aspects of Badminton beautifully via their YouTube channel. They got married in 2023 and achieved the best ranking of 17 together. They have won five titles together.
Huang Yaqiong and Liu Yuchen (China)
Huang Yaqiong is one of the top badminton stars in the world. She is the most formidable mixed doubles pair and has won 2 Olympic medals. She became the Olympic Champion in 2024. His Partner Liu Yuchen is also one of the great men’s doubles pair who won the silver medal at the 2020 Olympics. Liu proposed to three-time world champion Huang Yaqiong soon after winning gold at the Paris Olympics.
This moment was one of the cutest badminton moments. After the medal ceremony was over, Liu Yuchen presented Huang Yaqiong with a bouquet and then bent on one knee to propose to her. This moment went viral at the Paris Olympics and what makes it so special is that Liu proposes to Huang in the city of romance (Paris).
