BWF Korea Open 2025: Updated schedule, fixtures, results & live streaming details

HS Prannoy will lead the Indian challenge in Korea Open.

The badminton spotlight now shifts to Suwon for the Korea Open 2025, a BWF Super 500 event beginning September 23. Following a historic week at the China Masters, the Korean capital is set to host another thrilling chapter in the 2025 season.

At the China Masters, Thailand’s Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Supissara Paewsampran ended China’s 20-year reign in mixed doubles, while World No.1 An Se-young claimed the women’s singles title.

In women’s doubles, Jia Yifan/Chen Qingchen defeated Korean hopes Kim Hye-jeong/Kong Hee-yong, and Weng Hongyang lifted his second super 750 title.

Korea’s Kim Seo captured the men’s doubles title with Seo Seung-jae, defeating India’s Satwik-Chirag, adding more excitement heading into Suwon.

The Korea Open draw features some of the sport’s biggest names, including the recently crowned champions at China Masters 2025. Among them are Denmark’s Anders Antonsen, Li Shifeng—fresh off his Hong Kong Open 2025 triumph, and the Chinese men’s doubles pair Liang Weikeng/Wang Chang.

With top seeds and emerging talents converging in Suwon, fans can expect high-octane rallies, dramatic finishes, and the occasional historic upset. The Korea Open promises another week of world-class badminton action.
