Former Champion Ng Ka Long Angus headlines the men’s singles draws

The BWF World Tour continues its Asia swing with the Sands China Macau Open 2026, set to take place from June 16 to 21 at the Macau East Asian Games Dome. The Super 300 tournament offers a total prize pool of USD 370,000 and will feature a mix of experienced campaigners and rising stars from across Asia.

Singapore’s Jason Teh enters the tournament as the second seed in men’s singles, while Hong Kong’s Ng Ka Long Angus leads the field. Former world championship bronze medallist Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Indonesia’s rising prospect Zaki Ubaidillah were initially among the seeds but have withdrawn ahead of the event.

In women’s singles, South Korea’s Kim Ga-eun tops the draw alongside Thailand’s Busanan Ongbamrungphan. India will have a strong presence in the discipline with Isharani Baruah, Anmol Kharb, Shriyanshi Valishetty, Tasnim Mir and several other young shuttlers competing for valuable ranking points.

As a Super 300 event, players will compete for crucial world ranking points and a share of the USD 370,000 prize purse.
