Anders Antonsen will take on Frenchman Christo Popov in the men’s singles final. The Danish star stormed into the final after an incredible run, including a thrilling 21–15, 17–21, 21–12 victory over compatriot Viktor Axelsen and a hard-fought comeback against China’s Li Shifeng, 21–15, 19–21, 21–13.
This marks Antonsen’s fifth final of the season, having already claimed one title and finishing as runner-up in three others.
Meanwhile, in the women’s singles final, the World No.1 An Se Young will face Wang Zhiyi of China. This showdown marks their second consecutive week meeting in a final, having also clashed at the Denmark Open 2025.
So far this year, Wang Zhiyi has come up short against An Se Young in five different finals.
The Korean star reached the French Open final after a tough semifinal victory over Olympic champion Chen Yufei in a thrilling three-game match 23-21, 18-21, 21-16. Young also holds a dominant 14-4 head-to-head record against Wang.
The women’s doubles finals will see a clash between China’s Luo Xu Min/Li Yi Jing and Yuki Fukushima/Mayu Matsumoto of Japan.
