Indian team will look to secure a place in the upcoming FIBA Asia Cup

The Indian basketball team will clash against Saudi Arabia tonight for a chance to qualify for the FIBA Asia Cup. The task won't be remotely easy as the Indian squad with tussle the with foe on their home turf. This, despite the fact India has a higher rank than Saudi Arabia.

India are currently in Group H with Saudi Arabia and Palestine and needs to finish in the top two to qualify. So today's match will be a very crucial contest. Both teams will look to make a strong start to the qualifying campaign. The young cagers will play Saudi Arabia today and Palestine the following day.

Moreover the Indian team will also draw inspiration from their win against Iraq. The match was a hard fought one and saw India triumph with a 81-78 margin. Consequently it also paved the way for India to earn a second shot at qualification.
