FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup 2024: India Squad, Fixtures & live Streaming Details

The Indian Cagers will feature for the second time in 3×3 U18 World Cup.
After a long time, India’s women’s basketball team is set to return to the international arena. India has secured a spot in the FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup 2024.
In an unexpected turn of events, the men’s team will be absent from this year’s competition. Given their impressive silver medal performance at last year’s Asia Cup and their qualification for the World Cup—where they narrowly missed out on the knockout stages after finishing third in the group—this absence comes as a surprise.
The FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup is an under-18 basketball tournament organized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) since 2011. In this tournament, the world’s best 3×3 youth basketball teams fight for glory. The 2024 FIBA Women’s U18 3×3 Basketball World Cup is scheduled to be held in Debrecen, Hungary, from August 26 to 30.
India’s squad for FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup 2024

This tournament has 20 teams in both the women’s and men’s sections. The teams are split into four groups, called pools, with five teams in each pool. India’s team is ranked 11th overall and is playing in Pool C. The other teams in India’s pool are Kyrgyzstan (ranked 3rd), Japan (ranked 6th), China (ranked 14th), and Uganda (ranked 19th).
In the pool stage, each team will play one match against every other team in their pool. This means every team will play four matches. After all these matches are done, the two teams with the best results from each pool will move on to the next round, which is called the quarterfinals
