Hi 5 Youth Foundation appoints Anastasios Traianos as head consultant for youth sports excellence

The Hi 5 Youth Foundation announced the appointment of Anastasios (Tasos) Traianos as Head consultant. This strategic move underlines the Hi 5 Youth Foundation’s commitment to fostering excellence in youth sports and ensuring the highest standards of coaching.
Anastasios Traianos boasts a remarkable 14-year career playing at the highest levels of the sport in Greece and the UK, including stints in the prestigious British Basketball League (BBL) with the Manchester Giants. Currently, he is the driving force behind the BLGC basketball programme, which focuses on the holistic development of young people aged 8-19. With a wealth of experience as a player, in coaching and mentorship roles, Traianos brings a dynamic and innovative approach to player development.
In his new role, Traianos will be responsible for guiding and supporting Hi 5 Youth Foundation’s coaching staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary resources and training to deliver exceptional programs. His vision for holißstic athlete development aligns perfectly with Hi 5 Youth Foundation’s mission to empower young athletes not only in their sport but also in their personal growth and character building.
