Punjab Warriors edged Gujarat Stallions by a point in InBL Pro U25 2025.
In a heart-stopping showdown at the Thyagraj Indoor Stadium, the Punjab Warriors pulled off a dramatic 74-73 comeback win over the Gujarat Stallions in the InBL Pro U25 2025. Lucas Barker delivered the dagger, sinking a clutch three-pointer at the buzzer to steal the game for the Warriors after trailing for most of the match.
The Warriors were without key player Gurbaz Sandhu, while the Stallions missed their star, Trendon Hankerson but Joshua Duach stepped up scoring a massive 29 points in the game.
The Stallions came out firing, with Joshua Duach slicing through the Warriors’ defense with ease. Meanwhile, Punjab struggled to find their rhythm, and Nate Roberts’ emphatic block on Dibiamaka set the tone early. By the end of the first quarter, the Stallions held a commanding 10-point lead.
The second quarter turned into a three-point shootout, as Perry and Duach struck from deep for the Stallions, while Boston Mazlin kept the Warriors in the fight. With two minutes left, Brijesh Tiwari and Vaisakh Manoj helped cut the deficit to three, but Tushal Singh and Amarendra Nayak responded swiftly, pushing Gujarat’s lead back to nine at halftime.

The Warriors found a spark in the third quarter, crashing the offensive boards and capitalizing on second-chance points through Stokley Chaffee. However, Duach continued his offensive onslaught, keeping the Stallions ahead. Gujarat extended their lead to 14, but Punjab fought back as Manoj, Tiwari, and Taane Samuel chipped away, bringing it down to just five points entering the final period.
With the game on the line, the Warriors cranked up their defensive intensity. Chaffee and Samuel led the charge, making it a one-point game. Both teams battled fiercely, with each possession but the Warriors went over the foul limit midway through the quarter.
However, Samuel’s drives to the basket finally gave Punjab their first lead of the game, only for Tushal Singh to drain a cold-blooded three-pointer to snatch it right back for the Stallions.
With just eight seconds left, Barker stole the ball and finished on the fast break to tie the game, but Duach answered immediately with a quick two-pointer under the basket, putting the Stallions up by two with five seconds remaining. Then, in a moment of pure magic, with a brilliant set play, Barker launched a three-pointer on the run and completed an incredible comeback for a 74-73 victory.
