India drawn against Iran, Uzbekistan, Samoa in Division B of FIBA U16 Women's Asia Cup 2025

The tournament will be held in Malaysia from September 13 to 19.

The Indian U-16 women’s basketball team is set to return to international action. They will compete in the upcoming edition of the FIBA U16 Women’s Asia Cup 2025, scheduled to take place in Malaysia from September 13 to 19.

India, who will participating in division B of the tournament, are pitted in alongside Samoa, Uzbekistan, and Iran. Group B consists of Togo, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and hosts Malaysia.

The competition, which be held from September 13 to 19, will see each team play three matches in the league stage, going up against the other opponents in their respective groups once.

At the end of the group phase, teams placed at the top of both groups will secure a direct spot in the semi-finals, while the second and third-placed nations from each group will battle it out against each other in the qualification round for the semi-finals.

The winner of the qualification rounds will then go up against the table-toppers in the semi-finals, which will be followed by the summit clash.
