Zarkawt BCA Cap unbeaten season with Fifth Mizoram Super League (MSL) title.
The Mizoram Super League (MSL Season 9) culminated in a dominant display by Zarkawt BCA, who secured their fifth championship title with a convincing victory of 89-77 over Khatla TBL. This win caps off a remarkable season where Zarkawt remained an undefeated throughout all seven games, solidifying their position as a true powerhouse in the league.
Zarkawt’s Zonnsanga emerged as the key player, leading the team with a stellar performance of 23 points, 6 assists, and 7 rebounds. While Khatla TBL’s Joshua Aaron Keyes put up a valiant fight with a double-double performance (25 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists), it wasn’t enough to dethrone the reigning champions, Zarkawt.
Following a strong 95-80 win in the first game of the finals, Zarkawt BCA continued their momentum. Zarkawt established a significant lead early on, outscoring Khatla 30-17 in the first quarter. Although Khatla TBL rallied in the third quarter, Zarkawt BCA ultimately showcased their superiority and maintained control.

Zonnsanga was a force on offense, particularly from beyond the arc, making six out of ten three-point attempts, including four in the crucial third quarter.
Amritpal Singh, a valuable addition, joining directly after the All India Police Games in Nagpur, also played a crucial role. He contributed 21 points with an impressive shooting efficiency (50%) and showcased his defensive skills with three blocks and two steals.
Despite a challenging game, Khatla TBL saw a strong performance by Joshua Aaron Keyes. Vanlalthazuala and Lalthianghlima added support with 18 and 12 points, respectively. However, the overall dominance of Zarkawt proved insurmountable, securing their well-deserved championship title.
