Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua Results: Paul KO’d in round 6; Anderson Silva beats former UFC Champion

The highly anticipated showdown ended in a knockout.
Tonight, Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua stepped into the ring with their legacies at stake. One stood as boxing’s most divisive modern star, while the other was a former heavyweight champion determined to reclaim his place.
On December 19 at the Kaseya Centre in Miami, Florida, their high-stakes boxing clash delivered spectacle, scrutiny, and real consequences.
Alycia Baumgardner vs Lela Beaudoin – WBA, IBF & WBO Super-Featherweight World Titles (12x3min rounds)
In the co-main event of the show, Alycia Baumgardner defended the WBA, IBF & WBO Super-Featherweight World Titles against Lela Beaudoin in 12 three-minute rounds. Beaudoin held her own and managed to stay in the fight until the final bell, but it was Baumgardner who dominated the match, with sharp shots, battering Lela, even scoring a knockdown before the final bell of Round 7.
Baumgardner cruised to a unanimous decision victory to retain her unified IBF, WBA, and WBO super featherweight world titles Friday night. The judges at the Kaseya Center scored the bout 117-110, 117-110, and 118-109, all in her favor.
Winner: Leila Beaudoin via unanimous decision
Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua – Heavyweight (8x3min rounds)
In the main event of the show, all eyes were on Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua. The YouTuber-turned-boxer has steadily built a 12–1 professional record, but has never faced someone like AJ, who is an Olympic gold medalist and former two-time unified heavyweight champion.
The fight was set for eight three-minute rounds, with both fighters using standard 10-ounce gloves. In the early rounds, Jake stuck to his game plan, dodging Joshua’s powerful shots and clinching while landing his own jabs to take control of the rounds.
The output dropped considerably in the second and third rounds by Jake, while Joshua continued to land a big shot and knock Jake out cold. For some reason, Jake tried to take down AJ in the fourth round, which caused the referee to issue a stern warning.
Jake continued to go to the ground, trying to take down AJ in the fourth round. The referee issued another stern warning, this time even to AJ, to not engage and fight clean as the frustrated crowd rained down boos. AJ found some early success in round five, scoring two knockdowns in the final minute of the round to change the trajectory of the fight.
AJ came out of the gate hard, looking for his 26th knockout, scoring another knockdown to start the round. Paul called on AJ despite the offense, looking to bait him, but it didn’t work as Joshua landed a massive right hand to knock down Paul again, and Jake failed to get back to his feet in time as AJ was announced the winner via Knockout.
