Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury for a second consecutive time to retain his WBC, WBO, and WBA heavyweight world titles on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Ukrainian won via unanimous decision (116-112, 116-112, 116-112).
This was a rematch from their first meeting in May where Usyk defeated Fury by a split decision becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999, and the first in the four-belt era.
Fury suffered his first professional defeat to Usyk. Seeking vengeance and the chance to reclaim the unified WBC, WBA, and WBO world heavyweight titles, Fury faced off against Usyk in the Riyadh Season event, live.
To make space for this second fight, Usyk relinquished the IBF title, which mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois took up and defended against Anthony Joshua.
However, Fury’s dreams were shattered as Usyk emerged victorious in the rematch. Usyk landed the more precise and powerful strikes to retain his title and hand Fury his second loss in his boxing career.

Usyk vs Fury 2 payouts
The prize purse for the Fury-Usyk rematch was set at $191 million (₹ 16,22,48,77,000), approximately $56 million (₹ 4,75,70,32,000) higher than the revenue generated by their first fight earlier this year. The purse will be split 55-45 in Usyk’s favor which is in contrast to their first meeting where Fury took a 70-30 split of the purse. .

In their first fight, despite holding multiple championship titles across various organizations, the Ukrainian fighter earned a payout of $45 million (₹ 3,82,26,15,000). However, as mentioned this time around Usky got $105.05 million (₹ 8,92,36,82,350) in the rematch.
Tyson Fury
Despite losing their first encounter, Fury earned $100 million (₹8,49,47,00,000). In the rematch, which had a 55-45 purse split, the Gypsy King took home $85.95 million (₹7,30,11,94,650).
