Boxing legend Mike Tyson is all set to face Jake Paul tonight
The highly anticipated boxing match between legendary boxer Mike Tyson and YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul was earlier postponed for Friday, November 15, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, U.SA.
The fight was originally scheduled for July 20 but was postponed after Tyson, got injured on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on May 26 and required medical attention. He was advised to rest and not return to training for a few weeks, according to MVP, Paul’s promotional company.
The Tyson-Paul main card will take place on November 15, 2024, and will be televised on the streaming platform, Netflix beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
The card features a 10-round bout between two of boxing’s best women, Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, for the undisputed junior Welterweight Championship, as well as the return of former Middleweight World Champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. against former UFC fighter Darren Till, who is making his boxing debut, in a six-round Light Heavyweight fight.

The highly anticipated clash is just a few hours away but things have already reached its boiling point. Tyson and Paul had multiple intense face-offs and interviews in the build-up to this fight. However, during the ceremonial weigh-ins things got out of hand as the face-off between the two led to a physical altercation.
During their ceremonial weigh-ins, chaos ensued as the boxing legend slapped Paul when the two fighters came head to head for the face-off. The video went viral on social media and is being circulated endlessly as fans are wondering the reason behind the slap.
A recent clip making the rounds on X (Twitter) sheds light on what sparked Mike Tyson’s altercation with Jake Paul.
Tyson slapped Paul after the latter made a misstep while approaching him on stage. As Jake moved toward Tyson, he accidentally stepped on Tyson’s foot while in a bent posture. This triggered an immediate reaction from Tyson, who, in a moment of frustration, slapped Jake in response.
Following the chaotic scene at the ceremonial weigh-ins, the final numbers are in. Mike Tyson weighed in at 228.4 lbs, while Jake Paul came in at 227.2 lbs. With these results, the fight is officially set, and the two are ready to face off in the ring.
