Nihal Sarin believes FYERS American Gambits to make mark in fourth edition of Global Chess League

FYERS American Gambits are gearing up for another exciting campaign in the Global Chess League with a formidable line-up that brings together some of the biggest names and brightest talents in international chess.

The team features an exceptional blend of youth, experience and international pedigree, with Javokhir Sindarov, Nihal Sarin, Daniil Dubov, Bibisara Assaubayeva, Sara Khadem and Marc’Andria Maurizzi, supported by GM Srinath Narayanan as Coach.

For Indian chess star Nihal Sarin, one of the marquee players of FYERS American Gambits, the squad’s composition is one of its biggest strengths.

“With the Olympiad in Samarkand coming up soon after, playing the GCL will also be a great opportunity to be part of a high-level team environment and compete in a format that is very different from individual tournaments,” he added. “It will be interesting to see how the experience of playing together, handling the pressure and competing as a unit translates into the bigger team events later in the year.”
