Commonwealth Games Day 5 Live: India win gold in Lawn Bowls, Table Tennis; silver in Lifting, Badminton

After an inspiring Day 4 of Commonwealth Games 2022, where the Indian women’s fours team beat New Zealand in the lawn bowls semi-finals, earning the nation’s first Commonwealth Games medal in the sport, we look forward to the live updates of Day 5.
On Day 5, India will have perhaps three gold medal team matches. Table Tennis men’s team and Badminton mixed teams will take the field against Singapore and Malaysia respectively. Whereas, Lawn Bowls will see India’s women’s fours play against South Africa. Lawn Bowls will also have Indian women’s pairs and triples taking on New Zealand’s pairs and triples in Round 1.
In the track and fields section, national record holders Seema Punia, Tejaswin Shankar and Murali Shreeshankar will start the proceedings for India. Other medal events will see gymnasts, weightlifters and swimmers don the Indian jersey.
