India at Commonwealth Games 2026: Boxing schedule, squad, & live streaming details

India have sent 14 boxers for the Commonwealth Games 2026.
India’s boxing contingent will have to do the heavy lifting this year, after the disciplines for the Commonwealth Games 2026 have been cut down to 10.
Sports such as badminton, shooting, and wrestling, in which India have historically dominated, have been excluded from this edition of the games. India’s 12-member boxing contingent returned from Birmingham CWG with 7 medals, including three gold, one silver, and three bronze.
This year, India’s medal hopes will once again rest heavily on Lovlina Borgohain, the Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist, as the promising contender. Jaismine Lamboria has also arrived in Glasgow in excellent recent form and is brimming with confidence after winning a bronze medal last time out.
However, none of the Indian boxers who won gold medals at the Birmingham Games will participate in the 2026 Games, leaving the hopes and expectations in the hands of young athletes.
