India will field a strong para athletics contingent at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, Scotland, with several athletes aiming to add to the country’s medal tally in track and field events.
The Indian para athletics team features experienced names across sprint, middle-distance and field events, competing in classifications including T38, T47, T54, F44 and F57.
India have consistently been among the strongest para-sport nations in recent years, and the contingent will be looking to continue that momentum at Glasgow CWG.

The 2026 Commonwealth Games will be broadcast live in India on the Sony Sports Network, while selected events will also be available on DD Sports.
Fans can watch the games live on television via Sony Sports channels, while SonyLIV will provide live streaming on its website and mobile app.
Viewers across India will be able to follow the competitions live through the Sony LIV app on smartphones and tablets, or via the Sony LIV website on desktops and laptops.
Since Glasgow follows British Summer Time (BST), which is 4 hours and 30 minutes behind Indian Standard Time (IST), most competition sessions will begin around 1:30 PM IST, with medal events continuing into the evening and late-night hours.
