A lookback at India's performance at Commonwealth Games 2022

India had sent a 210-member contingent to compete in 16 different disciplines.
India’s 18th Commonwealth Games appearance concluded as one of the nation’s best-ever performances. India secured 61 medals, including 22 gold, and finished fourth on the points table. There was plenty of drama and controversy before the start of the Games, with the Indian Olympic Association initially threatening to boycott.
What made this performance even more special was the fact that one of India’s best disciplines in shooting did not feature in the competition. On that note, let’s revisit India’s results across various disciplines from four years back.
