A total of 126 athletes will represent India at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow. The contingent won 61 medals last time; therefore, they must be hoping to win even more medals in the upcoming games.

Youngest: Lisha Das

Paracyclist Lisha Das will be India’s youngest athlete at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow at only 16. She will make her debut in the multi-sport event on July 30.

She has enjoyed a brilliant year, winning the National Road Cycling Championships and six medals in two paracycling cups in Thailand. Das started her international campaign in 2026 at the Lanna Cup, where she won two gold medals.

Later, she participated in the Korat Para Cycling Cup, where she bagged two silver and two bronze medals. Lisha Das has been in great form in 2026, and at the Glasgow Games, she will try her best to win a medal.

Oldest: Dinesh Kumar Singh

Dinesh Kumar Singh is participating in the men’s pairs lawn bowls events at the Glasgow Games. At 49, he will be making his fifth appearance at the multi-sport event.

He debuted at the event in 2010, where he competed only in the triples. Later, he played in pairs and fours in 2014 before returning to triples in 2018.

In 2022, in Birmingham, he won a silver medal in the fours event, where he teamed up with Sunil Bahadur, Chandan Kumar Singh, and Hand Navneet Singh. They lost to Northern Ireland in the summit clash.
