The former skipper of Sri Lankan cricket team, Sanath Jayasuriya, was given the title 'Master Blaster,' becoming the third batting legend in cricket history to be conferred with this title, after Sir Viv Richards of West Indies and Sachin Tendulkar of India. Renowned for his intimidating hitting ability and game-changing all-rounder, Jayasuriya smashed 27 sixes in 37 innings between 1992 and 2007 in ICC Cricket World Cup.

9. Herschelle Gibbs - 28 Sixes

In the ninth position, we have Herschelle Gibbs from South Africa. He is recognised as a top-tier power hitter and has transitioned into a cricket coach. Gibbs made history by becoming the first player to hit six sixes in an over in an ODI match, accomplishing this feat against the Netherlands during the 2007 World Cup. From 1999 to 2007, Gibbs impressively hit a total of 28 sixes across 23 innings.
